Immediately after 9/11 American flags were everywhere. Every car on the highway had one, there was one flying on almost every home and many people wore flag pins on their clothing.

Nowadays most of these flags are missing! Have we lost our sense of patriotism? Have we become complacent in today's world?

Wake up people show your patriotism! Fly the flag everyday. Don't wait until we experience another major terrorist attack on American soil to be a patriot, do it now.

I'm with you all the way on this one Msradell. Apparently most have forgotten and the others are probably afraid their neighbor will complain about them. It's a sad state of affairs all the way around. Recent events have made me once again get that "Jimmy Carter" feeling.

I'll have you know we fly our flag daily for all to see, it never comes down and during this upcoming 4th of July there will be flags all over our block every few feet. I'll try to get pics and share them with everyone this year.

Thank you for the post and welcome to ISPgeeks.com, it's a pleasure having a true American such as your self join.

Wow!! Tomcat and I agree on something - is the sky falling? I also agree with the poster. It appears we've all forgotten what it means to be an American. It's not just about the flag but in all the things we do.

Great Post!

OMG< I must have died. Laughing

Some of my fondest memories were saying my daily prayer and pledge of allegiance to start a school day off.

Um,

I'll admit that the pledge wasn't my fav thing to do but I did it. As I remember it we stopped doing that when I got to middle school and of course it never came back after that.
